UNDRSTND is an artistic movement born from the conviction that sound reshapes space and space reshapes human connection. What began as a whisper between friends in a Zürich basement has evolved into a cultural institution, curating experiences, events, festivals, and immersive musical journeys across Switzerland and beyond.

Origin

In 2023, a handful of friends started hosting sessions in rooms that were never designed for music. Basements, rooftops, decommissioned spaces. The idea was simple: strip away everything that separates the person playing from the people listening. No VIP sections, no velvet ropes. Just sound, proximity, and shared intention.

That instinct grew into something larger. Today, UNDRSTND operates as a record label, a film production collective, an events curator, and a future festival organizer. But the core has not changed: find extraordinary artists, place them on extraordinary stages, and let the moment do the rest.
